The red stuccoed Cala Sant Vicenc adult only hotel is located just 200 metres from the sea. The hotel is set in the former fishing village of Cala Sant Vicenc, in the northern part of the island where the Tramuntana mountains begin.

Set in lush green surrounds in the midst of the picturesque resort, Cala Sant Vicenc’s striking and immaculate exterior echoes the standards that continue inside. Attention to detail is a priority for this welcoming hotel with its classical furnishings, comfortable sofas and a smattering of antiques, Persian rugs and artworks.

The hotel also boasts an excellent restaurant Cavall Bernat with a spacious terrace for eating modern Mediterranean dishes al fresco. For more informal dining, the poolside bar serves a light menu.

The hotel’s terraces, gardens and generous sized pool are perfect places to soak up the sun, and for a change of scenery there are three sandy bays only minutes away. The bays have spectacular views of Cavall Bernat which is a cliff often featured on the island’s postcards. A windy road ventures some way towards the Cavall Bernat with opportunities to stop off and take a plunge in the crystal clear sea. In the evenings, the resort has several restaurants and bars and the old town of Pollenca, with its historical squares and refined atmosphere, is a 10 minute drive.

We had another lovely week at the hotel. It is a great hotel. The staff provide an excellent service whether it’s the cleaning of the bedroom or the hotel-always immaculate- the service in the restaurant and bar or the help at reception. I love the attention to detail. The ices by the pool; the fresh bottle of water each day; the fruit and bottle of wine on arrival. Also the special mallorcan meal which we didn’t remember about and unfortunately had had paella for lunch so I was stuffed by tea time. Also because my sister had mentioned it was my birthday I received a little pouch of l’occitaine hand and foot cream – a complete surprise and really made it a wonderful day. The food in the restaurant is always of a high standard and breakfast was even better than in May. Both Joan and I had 2 massages each. Both Juannas are really good and I would certainly recommend them to anyone. The only thing I would say is that both of us would have been just as happy in the smaller room with balcony we had the last time. So perhaps we need to book earlier to ensure we get the type of room we like? I would also like to say how much we have appreciated you and Martin’s help with the arrangements. — LG

This was everything we wanted – small good quality hotel, relaxing place and to be able to walk to the beach. Our room was large and comfortable with separate seating area and a nice balcony to sit out on. Pollenca (nice bars, restaurants and cafes, beaches) is only 10 minutes away.
