Can Simoneta is a stylish and peaceful haven perched in a truly absorbing position with endless sea views. Sympathetically renovated, the expansive estate sits in an unrivalled cliff top location with its own private rocky cove, and a sandy beach just five minutes walk away.

With just the sound of the breeze and the sea below, this once monks retreat, has become a real luxury hideaway.The guest bedrooms are divided between the main house and a smaller second building close to the cliff top. This separate stone house dates back to the last century, and is home to some of the hotel’s most elegant suites, with muslin draped four poster beds, huge windows and glorious views.

Can Simoneta has just got even better, as the hotel has converted an ancient honey stone house down by the beach into its very own luxurious Beach House. The tastefully renovated house hosts a variety of room types from doubles through to superior suites with terrace. All the airy rooms are decorated in the hotel’s signature luxurious, calm style, and there is also the added bonus of its own sea view pool and the lapping waves being close by.

Outside is where Can Simoneta really excels. Indulge in a massage under a shaded pine tree, kick back in the cliff top jacuzzi or simply lounge by the designer pool with comfortable daybeds. When hunger strikes, relaxed lunches can be arranged on the large outdoor terrace, or later in the day, enjoy one of the restaurants refined Mediterranean specialities. When it’s finally time to explore the surrounds, there are some great beach coves and golf courses (10% discount on green fees) all within a short drive.

As you know we were extremely happy about our stay at Can Simoneta. The location is exceptionally beautiful and the design and decor is very tasteful. The service was also fantastic and the staff were doing their utmost for the guests. The breakfast buffet and á la carte choices are among the best we’ve tried at any luxury hotel. All in all it appears to be an exceptionally well managed property and value for money is very good. However, the rooms at the old house were by far the best. The so-called “chill out areas” are genius and we spent several hours there every day. The restaurant is good but the choices are limited and they did not change the menu during the course of our stay there. This is okay but it inspires the guests to venture outside the hotel to have dinner at other restaurants in the vicinity where btw the receptionist (Sabina) was very helpful in arranging bookings. Restaurant Cova Negra in Capdepera was an excellent alternative. — P & TA

We were pleased we stayed in the separate sea/beach cottage, so close to the sea but just a short walk to the main house. A very pleasant relaxing experience with attentive staff. We would recommend. Firstly the location is quite stunning, with views straight off to the sea with two large pools to choose from & plenty of outdoor space. Food excellent with a good selection of local wines to accompany and good service. — DF

Our stay at Cana Simoneta was just what the Doctor ordered peace and quiet under beautiful surroundings and perfect non intrusive staff. Even though our stay was short it was perfecto to charge the batteries. The adult only is perfect for peace . The Hotel and its gardens were magnificent and the many corners made it even more private . The staff were always attentive and very professional . We had a room in the beach house which was a 5 minute walk through pines trees and had a nice sea view and sound . Well appointed room . Beach house was fab, thanks. It was quiet and the infinity pool was wonderful. We spent a lot of time by the pool and it was great to have complimentary water and fruit in the afternoons. For us it was a nice stroll between the beach house & main house but the buggy shuttle is also a great idea by the hotel. — L & TW

Can Simoneta. We had a very lovely holiday there. The staff were extremely helpful, polite nothing was too much trouble for them – but “invisible’ not fussing around you all the time. If there was a problem Ie our air conditioning within 1min someone there – and 30mins in our case the air conditioning engineer – you can’t get better than that. The accommodation of a very high standard the grounds were beautiful and well looked after – if you chose too you could be totally on your own as several Chill out areas. The Beach house was lovely had snacks in around lunch time and water was kept chilled all around the hotel estate. We would definitely go again – and would possible check your site out in near future for further holidays. — PG
