Sitting on rolling slopes with panoramic views of the Bay of Pollenca, this grand stately residence is a truly secluded and indulgent hideaway. Already discovered by one or two celebrities, the hotel is a unique place that makes visitors feel like pampered house guests in a luxurious home.
Originally a 13th century farm estate, an elegant and ornate manor house was added to the hunting lodge in the 16th century by the wealthy Colom family, after returning from making their fortune in Cuba. The ostentatious addition was built and furnished with no expense spared, and fortunately the houses and their heirlooms have been preserved to this day. Now, the Colom family warmly welcomes those looking for an exquisite and peaceful place to stay.
The Coloms have succeeded in keeping the atmosphere of an elegant yet friendly home, with its numerous lounges, two dining rooms, a library, a bar and even a beautiful tiny chapel. The whole place is dotted with ancient antiques, rugs, tapestries and even works of art created by past and present family members. The bedrooms are in both the manor house and ancient lodge. Some have high grandiose ceilings and elegant fittings, whilst others have a cosier, more rustic feel. An elegant, colonnaded inner patio joins the two houses, and dotted with tables and chairs it makes an enjoyable place for an aperitif or dinner.
Outside, glorious coastal views can be enjoyed from either the pretty front terrace or stylish infinity pool. Bicycles are also available to explore the hotel’s 100 hectares of land, or guests can go hiking along it’s own private wooded peninsula.
Hotel Llenaire offers a sense of seclusion and privacy yet is only a few kilometres from the beach and marina at Port de Pollenca, the ancient town of Pollenca and the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. The owners are happy to organise a range of activities from kite surfing, windsurfing, diving, horse riding to golf (with discounted green fees)
