Hidden down a quiet cobbled street, the stylish Santa Clara sits in the oldest part of Palma, where guests can enjoy just a short stroll to the shops, sea front and the vibrant city nightlife.

Once home to Mallorca’s aristocracy, this area retains a calm and gentrified atmosphere, and boasts large mansion townhouses, historic convents and the city’s main tourist attraction; the Cathedral.

Step inside Santa Clara and this old building has been transformed into a modern and luxurious place to stay. Exposed stone walls, huge archways and high wood beamed ceilings are perfectly complimented with sleek and contemporary design.

The rooms are all individual, with views to the 16th century Santa Clara convent or to the quiet cobbled street at the front. For special occasions, try one of the Suites; large mezzanine rooms with stylish decor and indulgent circular Jacuzzi baths. For further luxuries, take the lift downstairs to the SPA. Unwind with a massage, relax in the sauna and finish off with a scented shower!

At the top of the hotel, there’s a wood-decked roof terrace. Sit back, soak up the sun and enjoy thePalma city vista with a Mediterranean backdrop.

A chic hotel in an old building (an old monastery ?) that’s been nicely updated to be contemporary and comfortable. Our room was huge with stone wall feature and huge comfy bed. In a very convenient position just behind the cathedral. Helpful staff, and we loved the roof terrace (order cocktails) and small spa. — VW

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were surprised how quiet the street was where the hotel is situated and also very pleased how close it was to everything. It was just a few metres from the beautiful cathedral. Our room was great and our favourite bit of the hotel was the roof terrace with its incredible views. — PC

First of all, I would highly highly recommend you, really appreciated all that you did to help me out.. Mallorca was FAB!! Could not have been better, the hotel staff were delightful, especially Lisa who was on Reception.. hotel was ideally placed for EVERYTHING.. in quiet part of Palma, which we liked as calm, pretty and scenic..practically around the corner from the Catherdral, a five minute beautiful scenic walk from the main hub with the best restaurants and bars.. loved Abaco, adored San Forno, shops were also on door step, Rialto Living we all loved, ten minutes’ walk from beach , just the best location, rooms were spacious, clean, basic but chic basic.. is that minimalist?? Roof bar was lovely for a drink before and after dinner, didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on that.. but we had the best time, we all had something.. shopping, sun, culture, food and relaxation.. would definitely go back there and to Mallorca. — NA
